Specialty Tax Group is a CPA firm that advises and consults companies on maximizing tax credits, incentives, and deductions.

Their workflow relies exclusively on Excel sheets, making it a very time-consuming process. An additional challenge is that they conduct building inspections using pen and paper to take notes and measurements, which they later have to transfer into the Excel sheets.
Translate the Excel-based workflow into a responsive web platform, allowing inspectors to use a tablet on-site and enter information directly into the system.
Understanding the entire workflow was crucial to ensure a smooth transition between the work done in the office and on-site. To support this, a user flow was created. Additionally, all Excel-based calculations were documented to enable a smooth handoff to the development team.
Given the time constraints, Untitled UI was adopted as the design system to accelerate screen creation and maintain consistency.
